This approach gave birth to a unique sound that harnessed the pulse of house/garage, the ‘feel’ of r&b and the memorability of pop music.

His distinctive sound has gained recognition from respected peers in the industry such as Disclosure, Joy Orbison, Salute, Pete Tong, Todd Edwards, and more.

In 2018, Douvelle19 made his debut with his EP ‘D19’, which was well-received by audiences and critics alike. The EP showcased his ability to take commercial sounds and infuse them with club culture. Continuing his momentum, in 2019, Douvelle19 released the single ‘Vitamin D’, which further cemented his position as a rising star. In 2021, he licensed a track called ‘Show Me’ for Conducta’s Kiwi Records, further expanding his reach and influence in the music industry.

He recently independently release his second EP, ‘When I Dream’, which sonically fuses pop, R&B, garage, grime and electronic. Written in lockdown and pieced together whilst travelling to see friends and family across Madrid, Japan and London, it’s contextually about human connection (or the lack

of) and the intersection between isolation and love. Off the back of the success of his latest EP ‘When I Dream’, he has been highlighted by various artists, radio DJ’s and presenters as their ‘One To Watch’ in 2024.

Douvelle19 has gone on to sign with RCA Records so expect some big things coming out of his camp in 2024/2025.
